De overspanningsbeveiliging Ex9UE1+2 12.5 is een SPD Type 1+2 (EN/IEC 61643-11) en beveiligt installaties tegen bliksemstromen en transiënte overspanningen. De beveiliging is geschikt voor toepassing in de hoofdverdeler en biedt bescherming conform LPL III en IV volgens EN 62305. De Ex9UE1+2 12.5 is gebaseerd op MOV-technologie en combineert de eigenschappen van Type 1- en Type 2-beveiliging. De modulaire uitvoering met uitwisselbare plug-in modules maakt snelle en eenvoudige vervanging mogelijk.
