Aardlekschakelaars (RCCB) Ex9L-N zijn geschikt voor residentiële installaties. Ze werken volgens het elektromagnetische principe en zijn daardoor spanningsonafhankelijk. Alleen voor het testen met de testknop is spanning nodig. Regelmatig testen wordt aanbevolen, bijvoorbeeld maandelijks. De 6 kA-variant is bedoeld voor lichtere toepassingen, zoals basisbeveiliging in huishoudelijke installaties.
